Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh recently introduced their baby daughter Dua to the world for the first time. Deepika has also announced that she is now in her mom era. The actress, who has been in the headlines for her work since a long time now, is embracing motherhood and the joys and challenges that come with it.<\/p>\n

Some time back, Deepika Padukone even changed her Instagram display photo to a picture of a custom T-shirt that said, \u201cIn my mom era.” Deepika is going all out now to express the joys of motherhood. Have a look at her new display photo here:<\/p>\n

New-mom Deepika Padukone recently spoke to CNBC-TV18 about how motherhood has changed her. Deepika is a mother to baby Dua, and the actress thinks this is her best role yet. Deepika mentioned that while she had always been a patient person, motherhood renewed her patience and even made her more social.<\/p>\n

Deepika Padukone said, \u201cI\u2019ve always been a patient person, but my tolerance levels now are\u2026 It pushes you out of your comfort zone and makes you a social person; I\u2019ve never been a social person. Having to interact with other parents, and now playschool. Motherhood just pushes you out of your comfort zone, in a good way. I\u2019ve always wanted to be a mother, and now I\u2019m playing my best role.”<\/p>\n

Previously, Deepika Padukone attended a Forbes event in Abu Dhabi and opened up about balancing being a new mother and a working woman. Deepika Padukone said, \u201cI think motherhood in itself has been so incredible that I\u2019m sure somewhere, if not consciously, subconsciously, it will influence the kind of movies and the roles that I choose to do moving forward. Having said that, I do believe that I\u2019ve been pretty aware and conscious even before motherhood.”<\/p>\n

\u201cI think where I\u2019m at in my life right now is how do I manage my time as a mother, as a new mother, with getting back to\u2013and I\u2019m sure there\u2019s some incredible women here who can give me some wise, some wisdom, whatever\u2013 but to be able manage my daughter and her life and getting back to work without feeling guilt. I think that is something I\u2019m figuring out. I won\u2019t say I am struggling with, but I\u2019m still figuring it out,” she added.<\/p>\n

Deepika welcomed her first child, daughter Dua, with husband Ranveer Singh in September 2024. Despite stepping back from a few projects, the actress continues to maintain a strong presence in the industry. She was last seen in Rohit Shetty\u2019s Singham Again. Up next, Deepika will reunite with Shah Rukh Khan for King, directed by Sujoy Ghosh and produced by Red Chillies Entertainment.<\/p>\n
