Tollywood power couple Ram Charan and Upasana Konidela have joyfully announced their second pregnancy and this time, it\u2019s double the happiness because the star couple is expecting twins. The happy news came via a heartfelt video from Upasana\u2019s traditional \u201cgodhbarai” ceremony, held during Diwali and attended by their close-knit family.<\/p>\n

Fans and well-wishers flooded social media with congratulations, and the entire Konidela-Allu family circle seemed to come alive in celebration. The video shows Upasana glowing in a blue salwar suit, seated as loved ones shower her with gifts and blessings. Ram Charan looks equally festive in a blue kurta, standing beside his wife with pride and joy. Family legends like Chiranjeevi, Nagarjuna and others joined the celebrations too. From the film industry, close friends Nayanthara and her husband Vignesh Shivan and their twins are also seen posing with the happy parents-to-be.<\/p>\n

Daughter Klin Kaara To Become Big Sister<\/strong><\/p>\n

The couple\u2019s daughter, Klin Kaara, who was born in June 2023, will be growing into her role as a big sister to twin siblings. \u201cDouble the celebration, double the love and double the blessings,” the Instagram caption read \u2014 perfectly capturing the spirit of this family milestone.<\/p>\n

As parents, the couple has made it a point not to reveal their daughter\u2019s face in public or on social media. During every appearance, both Ram and Upasana have made sure to cover Klin\u2019s face.<\/p>\n

While speaking to Hindustan Times recently, Upasana revealed the reason behind keeping their daughter away from the limelight. Upasana discussed that she and her husband have consciously limited their two-year-old daughter\u2019s public appearances, ensuring that she isn\u2019t constantly in the public eye. Many celebrities have started following a similar approach in recent times.<\/p>\n

When asked if they plan to continue doing so until their daughter reaches a certain age, Upasana mentioned, \u201cI don\u2019t know.” She then explained, \u201cThe world is a place that\u2019s changing so rapidly, and few incidents scare us as parents, but we also want to give a child the freedom to live.”<\/p>\n

\u201cCovering her face while going to the airport or things like that. It\u2019s a huge task for the mother, for the child, for the father, for everyone around as well. So I don\u2019t know whether we are doing the right thing or not, but for now, we are happy where we are,” she added.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, on the work front, Ram Charan is all set to return to the big screens with his much-anticipated next, Peddi.<\/p>\n
