YouTuber Darren Jason Watkins Jr, popularly known as IShowSpeed, recently found himself in a rather amusing and confusing situation while in Thailand. During a live stream, while travelling in a car, he was followed by a group of enthusiastic fans, including a few Indian youngsters on motorcycles, who kept shouting \u201cTVK” and \u201cThalapathy Vijay” as they rode alongside him.<\/p>\n

While the fans were clearly thrilled, Speed was left completely puzzled. He tried engaging with them to understand what they meant, but their excited responses only seemed to make things more confusing for him.<\/p>\n

Speed Fans Repeatedly Chant TVK And Thalapathy Vijay During Live Stream<\/strong><\/p>\n

At one point, the fans even referred to Vijay as the \u201cChief Minister of India,” leaving Speed visibly confused and wondering if they were talking about cricketer Virat Kohli. Frustrated by the bizarre interaction, he appeared annoyed on camera and was even heard using expletives during the live stream.<\/p>\n

Reacting to the post, a user wrote, \u201cSpeed always know Vyrat kholi and toni toni (Dhoni).”<\/p>\n

Another shared, \u201cWhy Vijay fans shaming Vijay in foreign. This is not fun. It\u2019s a shame.”<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s really good to snipe Speed on his live, but why guys? You\u2019re becoming meme content for no reason,” a comment read.<\/p>\n

An individual stated, \u201cWhy TF did they just do that?”<\/p>\n

Another mentioned, \u201cHe didn\u2019t recognise Tamil Nadu, so fans simplified the reference to the Chief Minister of India just to get him to understand. What\u2019s wrong with asking for basic awareness?”<\/p>\n

One more added, \u201cEverything is temporary, but Virat Kohli is permanent.”<\/p>\n

When Speed Compared Thalapathy Vijay With John Wick<\/strong><\/p>\n

While Speed didn\u2019t recognise Thalapathy Vijay during his Thailand trip, he has previously compared Vijay\u2019s action and stunts to Keanu Reeves\u2019 popular character, John Wick. In an earlier YouTube stream, Speed watched the trailer for Leo and was impressed by Vijay\u2019s performance.<\/p>\n

The video posted on X (Formerly Twitter) came with the caption, \u201cThe same Speed once said, \u2018Chad is the Indian John Wick,\u2019 about Thalapathy Vijay. So guys, we\u2019ve already got a Hollywood level ref from Speed. He just didn\u2019t recognised the name. Wake up when your favourite even gets featured on his channel.”<\/p>\n
