Rajat Bedi revealed that Shah Rukh Khan\u2019s son Aryan Khan wants to wait before pursuing acting, saying, \u201cPapa jahan pohonch chuke hain, comparison toh hoga.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/figure>\n

When a star kid steps into Bollywood, it\u2019s almost taken for granted that they\u2019ll follow in their parents\u2019 footsteps and become an actor. But Aryan Khan, son of superstar Shah Rukh Khan, chose a different path \u2014 one that led him behind the camera. Earlier this year, Aryan made his debut as a writer and director with his hit Netflix series The Ba***ds of Bollywood, which has earned rave reviews for its sharp writing and bold storytelling.<\/p>\n

However, before the show premiered, it was Aryan\u2019s screen presence in the announcement teaser that stole hearts. Many fans couldn\u2019t stop gushing over his charisma and smile, wondering if he would ever appear on screen like his legendary father. Now, actor Rajat Bedi, who played Jaraj Saxena in Aryan\u2019s directorial debut, has shed light on the young filmmaker\u2019s acting aspirations.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe World Is Waiting for You to Face the Camera”<\/p>\n

In an interview with Instant Bollywood, Rajat recalled his first meeting with Aryan and shared how impressed he was by the 27-year-old\u2019s clarity and confidence.<\/p>\n

\u201cOn the very first day, he told me, \u2018Sir, I\u2019ve written something, and I\u2019m going to direct it,\u2019” Rajat said. \u201cI asked him, \u2018You\u2019re going to direct?\u2019 I told him, \u2018Beta, the whole world is waiting for you to face the camera! What are you doing behind it?\u2019”<\/p>\n

To this, Aryan had a calm and grounded response. \u201cHe said, \u2018No sir, the level my father has reached \u2014 the comparisons, expectations, and all of that\u2026 But maybe later, I\u2019ll think about acting. Not now.\u2019”<\/p>\n

Rajat Bedi Was Moved by Aryan\u2019s Conviction<\/strong><\/p>\n

Rajat further revealed that Aryan was deeply involved in the creative process and personally approached him for the role. \u201cHe told me, \u2018Sir, I\u2019m making something, and I want you to play this character. If you don\u2019t do it, I\u2019ll remove this character altogether. I genuinely want you to be part of it.\u2019 I was really touched by his sincerity.”<\/p>\n

Rajat\u2019s performance as Jaraj Saxena in The Ba***ds of Bollywood became one of the show\u2019s highlights, earning praise for both his dialogue delivery and the way his character was written.<\/p>\n

Will Aryan Khan Ever Act?<\/p>\n

While Aryan has made it clear that he\u2019s in no rush to step in front of the camera, fans continue to hope that he will one day make his acting debut. With his effortless charm and deep understanding of filmmaking, it\u2019s only a matter of time before the young Khan brings his artistry full circle.<\/p>\n

For now, audiences are eagerly awaiting Season 2 of The Ba***ds of Bollywood \u2014 and perhaps, someday soon, Aryan\u2019s long-awaited entry as an actor.<\/p>\n
