Rajat Bedi became the talk of the town lately, thanks to his role in Aryan Khan\u2019s The Ba***ds Of Bollywood. The actor has been receiving a lot of plaudits not only for his performance but also for his zeal to survive in the industry for decades. Some time back, a throwback picture of Rajat Bedi<\/a> and Aishwarya Rai went viral. It was taken at a time when both the celebrities represented India on the international pageants platform.<\/p>\n

Sharing the story behind the viral picture, Rajat Bedi told Instant Bollywood, \u201cI was sent to Australia for the world final. It was a male beauty pageant. That same month, there was Sushmita who won Miss Universe and Aishwarya who won Miss World. I won Mr India and was sent to Australia for the final of the Man Hunt. What has happened is there were three celebrations together. So the trivia behind what you see is me and Aishwarya, we were on the stage together.”<\/p>\n

Rajat Bedi On Participating In Pageant Shows <\/strong><\/p>\n

Earlier, in an interview with Bollywood Hungama, Rajat Bedi had shared how he was very underconfident about participating in pageants but still gave it a shot. He said, \u201cI was quite excited and started to exercise. It was a big thing as Gladrags was a huge magazine. The first prize was a beautiful car and an all-expenses-paid trip to Singapore. When I heard about it, I told myself, \u2018Apne ko toh milna nahin hai\u2019. I was hoping that I would be noticed if I were on stage. After all, the who\u2019s who of the ad world were going to be present.”<\/p>\n

The Ba***ds Of Bollywood: Plot and cast<\/strong><\/p>\n

Apart from Rajat Bedi, The Ba***ds Of Bollywood starred Bobby Deol, Lakshya, Sahher Bambba, Manoj Pahwa, Mona Singh, Manish Chaudhari, Raghav Juyal, Anya Singh, Manoj Pahwa and Vijayant Kohli. The show follows Aasmaan Singh (Lakshya), an ambitious outsider looking to build himself a career in Bollywood. Along the way, he finds the industry\u2019s hectic, glitzy and competitive nature. The Ba**ds of Bollywood, produced by Red Chillies Entertainment, combines humour and drama in a self-aware, high-energy story.<\/p>\n
