Director Sujeeth has clarified that there are no differences between him and producer DVV Danayya, addressing recent rumours surrounding their collaboration on They Call Him OG, the blockbuster action thriller starring Pawan Kalyan.<\/p>\n

Taking to X on Tuesday, Sujeeth issued a note expressing gratitude to his producer and team. He wrote, \u201cA lot is being said, but very few truly understand what it takes to carry a film from start to finish. The belief and strength my producer and team showed for \u2018OG\u2019 can\u2019t be put into words. That\u2019s what gives this film its strength today.”<\/p>\n

Reaffirming his appreciation for Danayya\u2019s backing, he added, \u201cIt hasn\u2019t been easy for anyone, but every bit of effort came from a place of commitment. Let\u2019s keep the process respected. The love and madness shown by fans for Pawan Kalyan garu & OG make it all feel meaningful. Grateful to Danayya garu for his constant support and belief. With Love, Respect and Gratitude, Sujeeth.”<\/p>\n

Sujeeth\u2019s post follows a wave of online speculation suggesting tensions between the director and the producer, with reports claiming Sujeeth had contributed a portion of his remuneration to complete the film. His public clarification now puts those rumours to rest.<\/p>\n

This is not the first time Sujeeth has publicly thanked Danayya. Ahead of They Call Him OG\u2019s release, the director shared an emotional note, saying, \u201c \u2018They call him OG\u2019 will be all yours in just few more hours\u2026 Excited, thrilled and at the same time a little sad that this journey of so many years is finally coming to an end and won\u2019t be the same from tomorrow.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy deepest gratitude to my family and to everyone who stood by me at every step constantly pushing me forward. To my AD team and my technicians, I won\u2019t say more but I love you all. You stayed with me through every hurdle and every hiccup along the way.”<\/p>\n

He further wrote, \u201cThanks to Danayya garu and Kalyan Dasari for always being a pillar of strength and for trusting me throughout this journey.”<\/p>\n

The filmmaker had also extended his appreciation to other key members of the crew: \u201cTo Thaman anna, for always being supportive and giving everything he has for this film. Directed by Sujeeth and produced by DVV Danayya and Kalyan Dasari under the DVV Entertainment banner, the same studio behind RRR, They Call Him OG featured Pawan Kalyan in the lead role, alongside Emraan Hashmi, Priyanka Arul Mohan, Prakash Raj, and Sriya Reddy.<\/p>\n

The film\u2019s cinematography was handled by Ravi K Chandran ISC and Manoj Paramahamsa ISC, with editing by Navin Nooli and music by Thaman S. Originally scheduled for release on September 27, 2024, the film was eventually released on September 25, 2025, emerging as one of the biggest hits of the year.<\/p>\n
