Google is moving swiftly with its AI development and that means Gemini 3.0 AI model will be releasing this year itself. This was confirmed by Google Chief Sundar Pichai at a recent event, where he mentioned the work on Gemini 3.0 is well underway and will be rolling out later this year. The ChatGPT 5 rival has been anticipated for a while but most people thought Google might wait till early 2026 for its release.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Bringing Gemini 3.0 in 2025 ensures that Google has a strong contender to compete with GPT 5 and other high-end AI models in the market.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Google Readying Gemini 3.0 Model: Better AI Agents?<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Pichai made an interesting comment about the Gemini 3.0 model being really intelligent agents and that seems to be the pattern we are noticing across the range. ChatGPT has a new AgentKit that is working on similar automated tools while even Google\u2019s Chrome is taking the AI browser route, albeit to a limited spectrum for now.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The Gemini overhaul and release was much later than ChatGPT, primarily because Google wasn\u2019t sure of making the first move without actually seeing its purpose. <\/span><\/p>\n

But the OpenAI launch made it evident that the AI era is truly here and that\u2019s when Pichai and Co. decided to show off their AI models, which is now currently standing at Gemini 2.5 Pro version.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

We still don\u2019t know much about the features and specs of the Gemini 3.0 model but expect faster performance, improved data accuracy and smarter AI tools at work.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Google was probably going to be the obvious pick to start the AI era but that credit goes to OpenAI with ChatGPT in December 2022 and since then all the tech giants have been shuffling their packs to get the AI house in order.<\/span><\/p>\n

Google has quickly grown in this space and its chief Sundar Pichai has attributed that to its behind the scenes work on Gemini long before ChatGPT was introduced in front of the world. \u201cFor me, when ChatGPT launched, contrary to what people outside felt, I was excited because I knew the window had shifted,” he was quoted in an interview by Business Insider.\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n
