Samsung is adding more useful and critical health tools<\/p>\n<\/figure>\n

Samsung has upgraded its wearable devices with reliable health tools and AI integrations. But the company is now eyeing Apple Watch-level health tools on the wrist for the users with its upcoming feature.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The recent Galaxy Watch models already offer features like ECG and Afib to monitor your heart readings, but soon these Watches could get a more helpful tool related to heart issues for users. <\/span><\/p>\n

Samsung has officially talked about its new technology that is able to tell when the heart muscles are weak which could be a precursor to heart failure for people. These have become a serious issue for many fitness focused users and it is high time that Samsung brings tools like these to its premium wearables.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Samsung\u2019s New Heart Tool Coming Soon<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The company\u2019s new health feature focuses on issues like Left Ventricular Systolic Dysfunction (LVSD) that shows a person has weakened heart muscles. And this health problem could eventually become an early sign of heart failure, which is where Samsung\u2019s new addition looks to help.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The company is using AI to develop this feature via an algorithm from Medical AI that uses the ECG reading on the Galaxy Watch to detect the heart issue. The feature has got the nod from the health authorities in South Korea and the company is likely to make it available within the Samsung Health app for a wider rollout in the near future. <\/span><\/p>\n

The company has not confirmed if and when the new critical health tool will be available on its smartwatches but we assume a limited release should be likely in the next few years.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

In the other Samsung news this week, Galaxy S22 users have started getting the One UI 8 update which will be the last these devices will get from the company. <\/span><\/p>\n

Samsung had launched the S22 with Android 12 version and promised 4 OS upgrades which it will have fulfilled with the Android 16 update this year. However, the S22, S22 Plus and S22 Ultra users will be getting one more year of security updates, after which they will have to upgrade. <\/span><\/p>\n
