And this year, sweet makers are taking indulgence to a whole new level. A Jaipur-based sweet shop has launched an ultra-luxurious mithai infused with 24-carat edible gold, making it one of the most expensive sweets in India this <a href=\"https:\/\/www.news18.com\/lifestyle\/food\/chef-curated-easy-festive-diwali-recipes-that-balance-wellness-and-indulgence-ws-el-9645326.html\">Diwali<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p id=\"1\" class=\"story_para_1\">Called \u2018Swarn Prasadam,\u2019 the opulent sweet is priced at a jaw-dropping Rs 1,11,000 and is presented in an intricately designed jewellery box to match its regal ingredients and ultra-premium appeal.<\/p>\n<h4>How Is Swarn Prasadam Created?<\/h4>\n<p id=\"2\" class=\"story_para_2\">What sets Swarn Prasadam apart is not just its price tag but the rare and rich ingredients that go into its making. The sweet is crafted using Swarn Bhasma (gold ashes), a substance traditionally used in Indian Ayurveda. Speaking to ANI, she explained, \u201cToday, this sweet is the most expensive sweet in India. Its price is Rs 1,11,000. Its appearance and packaging are also very premium. It is packed in a jewellery box.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p id=\"5\" class=\"story_para_5\">\u201cIt is being infused with real edible gold, which is also called gold ashes. 24-carat gold, also known as Swarna Bhasma, is being infused in it. We are also applying gold work on it, bought from a Jain temple. We have used the best ingredients available, and it\u2019s made completely according to Ayurvedic traditions. So, anything that reflects Indian tradition is inherently priceless,&#8221; she added.<\/p>\n<h4>Other 24-Carat Gold-Infused Sweets<\/h4>\n<p id=\"6\" class=\"story_para_6\">The shop, already known for its premium offerings, also sells other 24-carat-infused delicacies.
