On Sunday, 19th October, the Bharat Army will achieve a significant milestone by having a strong presence at both the India Women\u2019s ODI World Cup match in India and the Men\u2019s match in Australia on the same day.<\/p>\n

England captain Nat Sciver-Brunt won the toss and chose to bat against India in a crucial Women\u2019s World Cup match on Sunday.<\/p>\n

India made one change, bringing in pacer Renuka Singh Thakur in place of batter Jemimah Rodrigues to have an extra bowling option.<\/p>\n

For the England team, Sophie Ecclestone and Lauren Bell are back in the XI after recovering from illness.<\/p>\n

India must win this match to avoid turning their next two games into knockout fixtures.<\/p>\n

India Vs Australia: 1st ODI \u2013 Live Score<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

After being invited to bat, India posted 136 for nine against Australia in the rain-interrupted first ODI on Sunday.<\/p>\n

The match was reduced to a 26-over-a-side game after the third rain interruption.<\/p>\n

India was struggling at 52 for four in 16.4 overs when rain halted play for the third time.<\/p>\n

However, Axar Patel (31 off 38) and KL Rahul (38 off 31) provided some momentum to India\u2019s innings after the resumption, helping the visitors reach a modest total after a poor start.<\/p>\n

Debutant Nitish Kumar Reddy (19 not out off 11) played a useful cameo towards the end.<\/p>\n

Earlier, Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma failed to make an impact on their return to the Indian team after seven months.<\/p>\n

Kohli was dismissed for an eight-ball duck by Mitchell Starc, while Rohit was bowled out by Josh Hazlewood for eight. Later, skipper Shubman Gill was caught down the leg side off pacer Ellis for 10.<\/p>\n

For Australia, left-arm spinner Matthew Kuhnemann (2\/13), Hazlewood (2\/20), and Mitchell Owen (2\/20) each picked up two wickets.<\/p>\n
