The film is backed by Mythri Movie Makers. In November last year, a bunch of photos from the sets of Fauji went viral online. Adding to the intrigue were rumours that the shoot was taking place at Hyderabad\u2019s Alipore Jail, the same spot where Subhash Chandra Bose was imprisoned back in the 1930s.
