The search was conducted for her former aide, N. Sumanth, who had been sacked just a day earlier following allegations of corruption.<\/p>\nCongress MP from Warangal Surekha is an influential OBC leader. And Sumanth faces allegations of trying to extort money \u2013 by waving a gun \u2013 from an official of Deccan Cements Pvt Ltd.<\/p>\nUpon arrival of the police, a special team that works directly under the Hyderabad Police Commissioner, Minister\u2019s daughter, Konda Susmita,\u00a0accused the Chief Minister Revanth Reddy\u2019s office of targeting Sumanth and her family by forcing Sumanth to state on record that her father, Konda Murali, had ordered the extortion.<\/p>\n\u201cMy mother and father are being targeted by the state government. My mother is a minister, and look how they\u2019re treating us. We don\u2019t understand what we\u2019ve done wrong.
