Ramaswamy, a close ally of US President Donald Trump, said the feature, set to offer erotic content to verified adults, would \u201cdo nothing to improve productivity or prosperity” and instead deepen \u201caddiction and loneliness”.<\/p>\n\u201cThe unnecessary \u2018over-humanisation\u2019 of AI is becoming troubling. This new \u2018feature\u2019 will do nothing to improve productivity or prosperity. He urged \u201cextreme caution” in allowing artificial intelligence to simulate sexual or emotional intimacy, warning that such humanisation of AI could fuel depression and social isolation. Ramaswamy added that while government intervention might be necessary, it was unlikely to be effective, stressing that AI should never be designed to exploit human vulnerability.<\/p>\n
