PM Kisan 21st Installment Date.<\/p>\n<\/figure>\n

PM Kisan 21st Installment Date 2025:<\/strong> The central government supports farmers through various schemes to boost agricultural productivity and raise growers\u2019 income. One such scheme is PM Kisan Samman Nidhi, under which the Centre provides Rs 6,000 in a year to eligible farmers through direct benefits transfer (DBT) in three installments. So far, the government has released 20 installments.<\/p>\n

Prime Minister Narendra Modi released the 20th installment in August, benefitting over 9.8 crore farmers, including 2.4 crore female farmers. This installment was delayed as against the expectations in June. As the installment is generally released every four month, farmers expect the next tranche, 21st installment, this month.<\/p>\n

The 19th installment was released in February, 18th installment in October 2024, and 17th installment in June 2024.<\/p>\n

What Is PM Kisan Scheme?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Under the PM Kisan scheme, eligible farmers get Rs 2,000 every four months, which is Rs 6,000 annually. The money is provided each year in three instalments \u2014 April-July, August-November and December-March. The fund is directly transferred to the bank accounts of the beneficiaries.<\/p>\n

The scheme was announced in the Interim Budget 2019 by then finance minister Piyush Goyal and was later launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. It has now become the world\u2019s biggest Direct Benefit Transfer scheme.<\/p>\n

When Will Farmers Receive 21th Installment Of PM Kisan Scheme?<\/strong><\/p>\n

According to reports, the next installment (21th installment) of the PM Kisan scheme was expected to be released before Diwali. However, the official date has not been announced yet. So, farmers might receive the next tranche of Rs 2,000 in November.<\/p>\n

It in important to note that the government has already released the 21st installment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM Kisan) scheme for flood and landslide-affected farmers of Jammu and Kashmir.<\/p>\n

Union Agriculture and Farmers\u2019 Welfare Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan on October 7 released the installment in advance through video conferencing from Krishi Bhavan, New Delhi. Under this release, Rs 171 crore has been directly transferred to the bank accounts of 8.55 lakh farmers, including over 85,000 women farmers in Jammu and Kashmir. With this, farmers in the Union Territory have received a cumulative Rs 4,052 crore under PM-KISAN so far.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, it is necessary for the farmers to check eligibility, complete KYC, and check beneficiary status. They also need to apply if they have not so far.<\/p>\n
