Actor Vijay Deverakonda has addressed reports of his car accident and reassured fans that he is safe. Taking to his Instagram story, the Liger star wrote, \u201cAll is well! Car took a hit, but we are all fine. Went and did a strength workout as well and just got back home. My head hurts but nothing a biryani and sleep will not fix. So biggest hugs and my love to all of you. Don\u2019t let the news stress you.”<\/p>\n

The actor\u2019s message has brought relief to his fans, who had expressed concern after learning about the mishap earlier in the day.<\/p>\n

Details Of The Road Accident<\/strong><\/p>\n

The accident occurred on the Hyderabad-Bengaluru Highway in Telangana\u2019s Jogulamba Gadwal district while Vijay was travelling from Puttaparthi, Andhra Pradesh, to Hyderabad. His Lexus LM350h was reportedly hit from behind by another car that did not stop after the collision.<\/p>\n

Police confirmed that Vijay\u2019s driver filed a complaint, and a probe has been launched into the incident. The actor switched to a friend\u2019s car and continued his journey safely to Hyderabad.<\/p>\n

Engagement Rumours With Rashmika Mandanna<\/strong><\/p>\n

Just a day before the accident, Vijay Deverakonda had visited Sri Sathya Sai Baba\u2019s Prasanthi Nilayam Ashram in Puttaparthi with his family. The visit followed reports of his private engagement with actor Rashmika Mandanna on October 3, attended by close friends and family.<\/p>\n

Fans also noticed a ring on Vijay\u2019s finger in photos from the trip, further fueling marriage speculation. While neither Vijay nor Rashmika has confirmed the engagement, sources suggest the couple might tie the knot in February 2026.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, videos of the damaged car have gone viral on social media, though their authenticity remains unverified.<\/p>\n
