Amitabh Bachchan has penned down a heartwarming note, cheering for women who are homemakers. On Monday, the Bollywood superstar took to his blog and addressed the female audience on Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC) 17. He shared that whenever a woman tells him that she is a homemaker, she says it in a subdued voice. Big B<\/a> asked women not to act like this, but ratherto\u00a0 be proud of being a homemaker.<\/p>\n

\u201cYada kada jab KBC pe kisi mahila se, jo ki audience mein baithi hai, main poonchta hoon ki \u2018Aap kya karrahi hai\u2019, toh woh bade dabe swar mein kehti hai ki- \u2018Main homemaker hoon\u2019 (On KBC, whenever I ask any woman, who sits in the audience, \u2018What do you do\u2019, then they in a hushed voice they reply, \u2018I\u2019m a homemaker\u2019)!! (Unamused face emoji),” he wrote.<\/p>\n

\u201cKyun, kyun aesa kehti hai dabe swar mein? Nahi!! Aap dabe swar mein kabhi bhi na kahe! Garv se kahiye ki aap ek homemaker hai (Why do you say so? No!! Never ever say in a subdued voice. Say with pride that you are a homemaker) (laughing and clapping hands emojis)!!!” the actor added.<\/p>\n

The veteran actor explained that managing a house isn\u2019t easy and continued by saying, \u201cGhar ko sambhaalna koi aasan kaam nahi hota!! Ghar ko dekhna, pati ki dekh bhal karna, baccho ko dekhna, bhojan sab k liye banana, jitne bhi upar se kaam hote hai hai sab dekhna. Yeh koi aasan kaam nahi hota (It\u2019s not easy managing a home!! Taking care of the house, husband, children, cooking food for everyone, overseeing all work. It\u2019s not an easy job).”<\/p>\n

Amitabh further reminded everyone of the coronavirus-induced lockdown and added, \u201cCovid ke samay sab purushon ko pata chal gaya, ki patni kitna kuch sambhalti hai ghar mein, jab swayam sara kaam jo abtak patni dekhti thi, unhe khud dekhna pada (During Covid all men understood how women manage a house when they themselves had to look after work that his wife was doing)!!”<\/p>\n

On the work front, Amitabh Bachchan is awaiting the release of his courtroom thriller drama Section 84. Made under the direction of Ribhu Dasgupta, the film also stars Abhishek Banerjee and Nimrat Kaur. Besides this, Amitabh will also reprise his role as Ashvatthama in Nag Ashwin\u2019s upcoming Kalki 2. Set in the year 2898 AD, the film blends sci-fi with ancient mythology. The shooting is expected to begin in December.<\/p>\n
