iPhone 17 Pro is unlikely to feature a titanium body as Apple looks to make big changes to bring the new Air model this year.<\/h2>\n

iPhone 17 Air could actually feature premium materials<\/p>\n<\/figure>\n

Apple could be making a host of changes to the flagship iPhone 17 Pro and 17 Pro Max models this year and Titanium could be another big feature missing from the premium devices. Yes, the titanium build quality of the 17 Pro could now be limited to the iPhone 17 Air variant, while the Pros only feature an aluminium casing this year.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

These details suggest Apple is planning for an overhaul of its lineup, and maybe give the iPhone 17 Air a higher price tag<\/a> than we have assumed. The news comes just a few days after there were leaks about new iPhone 17 Pro colours being introduced this year.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

iPhone 17 Pro Without Titanium: Why Apple Might Do It?<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The fact that Apple could ditch titanium build for the iPhone 17 Pro and 17 Pro Max clearly hints at a new direction for these products from the company. After all, these are your flagship models, and titanium has been used since the iPhone 15 Pro series, but ditching it now and going with only aluminium build for the frame and case sounds were un-Apple like. <\/span><\/p>\n

To be fair, the Air has got a lot of space on the rumour mill, mainly because the company could have a new premium offering coming out this year.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Having said that, contrary reports suggest the iPhone 17 Plus variant could be the one sacrificed to fit the Air moniker and price it slightly higher, something that Samsung has done with the new Galaxy S25 Edge model this year.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

iPhone 17 Air is tipped to be Apple\u2019s thinnest ever iPhone, measuring at 5.5mm, making it leaner than the Galaxy S25 Edge. It will get this size by carrying a smaller battery and Apple is likely to adopt silicon carbon tech to pack a higher density unit on the device. <\/span><\/p>\n

Going by the rumours, iPhone 17 Air launch price could be around Rs 1,20,000 especially if Apple manages to hike the iPhone 17 Pro prices, starting at Rs 1,34,999 this year. <\/span><\/p>\n
