Arjun Kapoor\u2019s sister Anshula Kapoor got engaged to her boyfriend Rohan Thakkar<\/a> on October 2, and the entire Kapoor clan came together to celebrate. While her late mother Mona Shourie wasn\u2019t with her in person, Anshula carried her memory close to her heart throughout the event. Anshula has now shared a video sharing how her mother\u2019s presence was felt throughout the celebrations.<\/p>\n

On Sunday, Anshula shared an emotional tribute to her late mother. Sharing a video compilation of special moments from her engagement with Rohan Thakkar, Anshula said, \u201cSince the day Rohan has proposed though Ma, missing you has felt like a fresh wound. So today, I needed to keep you close. The day itself was a blend of us.” She shared how every detail of the engagement reflected memories of her late mother. \u201cDear Ma, You were right \u2013 fairytales can be real The Gordhana was everything Ro and I dreamt of \u2013 pieces of us, and pieces of you, woven into every detail. From the rajnigandha you loved, to the wall of family photos, the old rom-coms we used to watch together, the hand written letters Ro has written to me over the years, and all our favourite nostalgic sweet treats.. it felt like we were walking through our own memory lane,” she wrote.<\/p>\n

She further added, \u201cLove was everywhere that night, Ma \u2013 in the laughter, in the chaos, in the hugs that felt like home. You were there in spirit, in scent, in every corner that felt safe. Forever my calm, forever my Ma.”<\/p>\n

Anshula\u2019s Engagement Outfit<\/strong><\/p>\n

Anshula donned a stunning purplr lehenga for her engagement. She revealed that her mother\u2019s words, \u201cRab raakha,” were stitched onto the outfit. \u201cShe always said, \u201cRab raakha.” So I\u2019ve carried it with me into this new chapter \u2013 stitched gently on my back, tucked safely in my heart. A reminder that she\u2019s still here, still watching, still my forever protector. My Maa Thank you\u00a0@arpita_mehta\u00a0for making sure these weren\u2019t just words on fabric, but feelings woven into every thread. A promise. A prayer. A piece of her with me.”<\/p>\n

Anshula\u2019s siblings Arjun Kapoor, Janhvi Kapoor, Khushi Kapoor, and their father Boney Kapoor were seen having a great time during her engagement. Several other pictures also feature Anshula\u2019s cousins Sonam Kapoor, Rhea Kapoor, Shanaya Kapoor, Jahaan and others.<\/p>\n

Anshula and Rohan met on a dating app in 2022. In July this year, Rohan proposed to Anshula in Central Park, New York.<\/p>\n
