iPhone 17 Air could actually feature premium materials<\/p>\n<\/figure>\n

Apple is widely tipped to bring the iPhone 17 Air model this year, replacing the Plus variant at launch. The new Air variant has similarities with the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge version, with its focus on a sleek design weighing heavier than anything else. And now the iPhone 17 Air leaks have come through once again, where the mention of the battery size on the new model brings intrigue for everyone. <\/span><\/p>\n

The Air version is already picking up a lot of attention and these new details will only spur the impetus on the new product.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

iPhone 17 Air Battery Size Leak: What It Says Now<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Earlier reports said the iPhone 17 Air could get a 2,800mAh battery<\/a> which should make it thinner and lighter than the Galaxy S25 Edge. However, new details from the tipster suggests something better, albeit marginally. Previously, it was pointed out that Apple might give a 2800mAh battery which is significantly smaller than the 3900mAh unit packed in the Galaxy S25 Edge by Samsung.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Now, the new tipster leak suggests the iPhone 17 Air could pack a battery capacity of around 2,900mAh. Even then, we\u2019re not sure of these figures, primarily because, any phone in 2025 does not warrant a battery that small, no matter how sleek or light it is.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Along with being a sleek device, tipster Bu has claimed Apple will make sure the iPhone 17 Air will be durable thanks to its use of the 7000 series aluminium alloy for the frame<\/a> which will give it a lighter touch compared to the iPhone 16 Pro titanium frame.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Apple is likely to use a steel case for the battery to offer better heat dissipation and even adopt a higher density unit thanks to the design overhaul.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The tipster also claims the OLED display will be the heaviest part of the iPhone 17 Air along with the battery. The new model is likely to get a single 48MP rear camera, powered by Apple\u2019s A19 chipset and offered with 8GB RAM support Apple AI features and tools. <\/span><\/p>\n
