IndiGo’s domestic market fell to 64.2% against 65.2% in July, Air India Group, comprising Air India and Air India Express saw its market share rise to 27.3% from 26.2% as Akasa Air\u2019s share declined slightly to 5.4%, and SpiceJet’s remained steady at 2%.<\/p>\n
The overall number is an improvement over July\u2019s figures, when 1.26 crore passengers travelled across the country.<\/p>\n

The DGCA noted that 74,381 travellers were affected by flight delays, and airlines paid out around Rs 1.18 crore in facilitation costs. Cancellations impacted 36,362 passengers, with carriers spending Rs 64.51 lakh on compensations and services.
