World No. 1 T20I batter Abhishek Sharma opened the innings for India A in the ongoing second unofficial ODI against Australia A at Green Park Stadium in Kanpur but got out for a golden duck. He was sent back to the pavilion on the first ball of the second over bowled by Jack Edwards. Will Sutherland completed his catch after India A captain Shreyas Iyer won the toss and opted to bat first.<\/p>\n

Indian fans had high hopes from Abhishek after he impressed with his batting in the Asia Cup 2025 but he failed to live up to the expectations in the 50-over match.<\/p>\n

After Abhishek, his opening partner Prabhsimran Singh also failed to do much with the bat in the second unofficial ODI. He was sent back to the pavilion by Sutherland for 1 run from 10 balls on the second ball of the third over.\u00a0Lachlan Shaw completed Prabhsimran\u2019s catch.<\/p>\n

India A captain Shreyas Iyer walked out to bat at No. 4, but in the ongoing match he also failed to do much with the bat. Iyer, who made 110 runs from 83 balls in the series opener on October 1, could only manage to score 8 runs from 13 balls.<\/p>\n

Iyer was bowled by Jack Edwards on the third ball of the sixth over.<\/p>\n

Tilak Varma, Harshit Rana and Arshdeep Singh, who were part of the Indian team in the Asia Cup 2025 are also playing in the second unofficial ODI at Green Park Stadium.<\/p>\n
