Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor have alleged that \u2018someone\u2019 is doing a negative campaign against their latest film, Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari. In a recent chat with BBC Asia Network, Varun revealed that while he knows who is behind the smear campaign, he prefers not to reveal their name. He said that fake campaigns have become common nowadays.<\/p>\n

Varun said, \u201cToday, there can be so much manipulation and botting and fake trends, and there have been a couple against Sunny Sanskari as well, which are just bots against the film for no reason. After a time, if it gets too much, you can just name the person, but we don\u2019t want to because it\u2019s someone else\u2019s insecurity that is showing.”<\/p>\n

Janhvi added, \u201cWhat is sad is that I think within the industry, there\u2019s always clarity that you can see what is bought and what is fake, but the general public believes. It takes one second to start a negative trend or campaign, and it is unfortunate that negativity does carry more than positivity.”<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari is finally out in theatres. News18 Showsha gave the film 3.5 stars. Janhvi Kapoor glimmers as Tulsi Kumari, capturing both innocence and melancholy with disarming ease. There is something refreshingly unrestrained in her performance; she does not bottle her emotions but lets them flow freely, and yet she remains luminous in every frame,” the review also mentioned.<\/p>\n
