Here\u2019s some good news for all the Kantara fans. With the release of Kantara: Chapter 1, the makers have also confirmed that a third installment in the film will also be made. As reported by Bollywood Hungama, the title of the upcoming part has been revealed at the end of Chapter 1. The third installment in the franchise will be titled \u2018Kantara: A Legend \u2013 Chapter 2\u2019.<\/a><\/p>\n

It was in 2023 that Rishab Shetty<\/a> announced that what the audience saw was actually part 2 and therefore, what will be released next will be Kantara\u2019s prequel. \u201cWe are very pleased and thankful to the audience who had shown immense love and support to Kantara and taking the journey ahead, with the blessing of almighty Daiva the film has successfully completed 100 days and I would like to take this opportunity to announce the prequel of Kantara. What you have seen is actually Part 2, Part 1 will come next year,” he had said.<\/p>\n

Kantara: Chapter 1 is set in the Kadamba period in Karnataka. The Kadambas were significant rulers of parts of Karnataka and played a major role in shaping the architecture and culture of the region. That period was known to be a Golden Period of Indian History.<\/p>\n

Is Kantara: Chapter 1 Worth Watching?<\/h4>\n

Kantara: Chapter 1 has been getting mixed reviews from the audience and critics.
