Sasural Simar Ka star Kajol Srivastav and husband Ankit Khare welcomed their first child six years after marriage. The couple is overwhelmed with joy as they have been blessed with a son into their lives. On June 3, the actress took to social media to share the happiness with her fans.<\/p>\n

Kajol shared a thread of pictures on Instagram, taken during her pregnancy. In the pictures, the actress was seen wearing a brown, form-fitting gown cradling her baby bump. Along with her, the pictures also featured her husband, Ankit, and nephew. One of the pictures showed the three posing for the camera as they held a slate with the words \u201cIt\u2019s a boy” scrawled on it in blue. Other pictures from the thread featured Kajol\u2019s nephew adorably kissing her baby bump. In another wholesome picture featured on the thread, Ankit was seen gently holding Kajol as he placed a kiss on her forehead.<\/p>\n

As soon as Kajol posted the news, fans rushed to congratulate the couple. One of their fans commented, \u201cHearty congratulations to the new mom and dad.” Another fan wrote, \u201cWowwwww, congratulations, akka. Mahakaal bless you always.” Someone else wrote, \u201cMany, many congratulations, girl\u2026 More strength to you.”<\/p>\n

Previously, the actress shared glimpses of her pregnancy journey with the fans. In a video posted by Kajol, she was seen documenting each month of her pregnancy with the caption, \u201cOur miracle in process.” In another video, she described that her trip to the Maldives with Ankit was life-changing, as during this time she learned about her pregnancy and wrote, \u201cGod took us on the most beautiful journey.”<\/p>\n

Kajol had also shared photos from her baby shower. The then mother-to-be was glowing with joy as she prepared to welcome her child with Ankit and close ones from her family.<\/p>\n

Some of the pictures featured Kajol and Ankit holding a pair of baby shoes, hinting at the arrival of the little bundle of joy. The post also featured a cake adorned with edible teddy bears, clouds and colorful balloons, which had \u201cMiracle Baby” written on it.<\/p>\n
