Dhadak 2 Movie Box Office Collections: <\/strong>Despite walking in with high hopes and critical love, Dhadak 2 seems to be facing a bit of a box office heartbreak. Starring the much-buzzed-about pair of Siddhant Chaturvedi and Triptii Dimri, the film hit theatres on August 1 after several delays. It had solid expectations, especially as a remake of the acclaimed Tamil film Pariyerum Perumal. However, the numbers haven\u2019t quite matched the hype. According to Sacnilk, Dhadak 2 has collected just over Rs 11 crore in its first three days.<\/p>\n

Directed by Shazia Iqbal, the film follows a new love story and is a spiritual follow-up to the 2018 movie Dhadak, starring Ishaan Khatter and Janhvi Kapoor.<\/p>\n

According to the latest update from Sacnilk, Dhadak 2 earned Rs 4.25 crore on its third day in theatres. The film opened with Rs 3.5 crore on Friday and saw only a marginal rise on Saturday, collecting Rs 3.75 crore. With this, the film\u2019s total box office collection now stands at Rs 11.50 crore.<\/p>\n

Dhadak 2 is up against some tough box office contenders. Competing with Ajay Devgn\u2019s Son of Sardaar 2, the animated mythological film Mahavatar Narsimha, Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda\u2019s romantic drama Saiyaara, and Vijay Deverakonda\u2019s action-packed Kingdom, the Siddhant Chaturvedi-Triptii Dimri starrer is struggling to hold its ground.<\/p>\n

What\u2019s more, Saiyaara, now in its third week, outperformed Dhadak 2 even on Sunday, raking in Rs 8 crore on the day. The Mohit Suri directorial has now crossed the Rs 300 crore mark in India, officially earning blockbuster status.<\/p>\n

Dhadak 2 narrates the story of a law student who falls in love with his classmate, only to face harassment from her family due to caste differences. Directed by Shazia Iqbal, and backed by Dharma Productions, Zed Studios, and Cloud 9 Pictures, the romantic drama dives deep into themes of caste discrimination, love, and social resistance, offering a raw and emotionally charged cinematic experience.<\/p>\n

Alongside the lead pair, the film also features Zakir Hussain and Saurabh Sachdeva in pivotal roles.<\/p>\n
