Son Of Sardaar 2 Box Office Collection Day 3: <\/strong>Ajay Devgn has once again brought his pagdi and punchlines to the big screen and audiences are loving it. Son of Sardaar 2, which released in theatres on August 1, 2025, may have received mixed reviews from critics, but the box office numbers are telling a cheerier tale. The comedy-drama opened with Rs 7.25 crore on Day 1 and has now wrapped up its first weekend with a solid Rs 24 crore, according to industry tracker Sacnilk.<\/p>\n

According to trade estimates, Son of Sardaar 2 kicked off its run with Rs 7.5 crore on Day 1. The film picked up pace on its second day with a 13.79 per cent jump, earning Rs 8.25 crore. The momentum continued into Sunday, with the film adding another Rs 9.25 crore to its total. With this, Son of Sardaar 2 wrapped up its opening weekend with a collection of Rs 24.75 crore.<\/p>\n

Son of Sardaar 2 may not be roaring like Ajay Devgn\u2019s earlier hit Raid 2, but it\u2019s still managing to make its presence felt. The film has already raced past Dhadak 2, which stars Siddhant Chaturvedi and Triptii Dimri and released on the same day. While Son of Sardaar 2 closed its first weekend with Rs 24.75 crore, Dhadak 2 wrapped up at a modest Rs 11.50 crore. The Ajay Devgn-starrer is also contending with strong competition from Mohit Suri\u2019s emotional drama Saiyaara, which continues to attract steady footfalls.<\/p>\n

News18 Showsha rated the film with 3 out of 5 stars<\/a>. A part of our review reads: \u201cWith all said and done, Son of Sardar 2 is a decent watch that you can think of watching at the theatres near you with your family. Though the film tries to give a message at the end, go with a mindset to watch some pure slapstick comedy that doesn\u2019t require you to apply your mind and logic. Lastly, be ready to be surprised for a small announcement in the end, and no, it\u2019s not Son of Sardar 3.”<\/p>\n

The film also stars late Mukul Dev, marking his posthumous release. Directed by Vijay Kumar Arora, the film features a powerhouse cast including Ajay Devgn, Ravi Kishan, Sanjay Mishra, Mrunal Thakur, Neeru Bajwa, Chunky Panday, Kubbra Sait, Deepak Dobriyal, Vindu Dara Singh, Roshni Walia, Sharat Saxena, and Sahil Mehta.<\/p>\n

Presented by Jio Studios and Devgn Films, A Devgn Films and SOS 2 Limited production, Son of Sardaar 2 is produced by Ajay Devgn and Jyoti Deshpande. Produced by N R Pachisia and Pravin Talreja, and co-produced by Kumar Mangat Pathak, Son of Sardaar 2 was previously slated for release on July 25, 2025. It\u2019s release date was later pushed to August 1.<\/p>\n
