BTS\u2019 long-awaited return to the music scene is gaining momentum after all seven members completed their mandatory military service. Following their reunion in June, the septet headed to Los Angeles to spend time writing and recording their next album. Reports suggest the comeback record, produced in collaboration with award-winning composers and producers, is scheduled for release in spring 2026.<\/p>\n

Global Tour Rumoured to Begin in May 2026<\/strong><\/p>\n

Speculation is now swirling that the band will follow their album with an extensive world tour. According to Finance News, researcher Kim Hyun Young from Hyundai Motor Securities revealed that BTS\u2019 tour could run from May through December 2026, spanning eight months. The report projects around 65 performances worldwide, with an estimated 4 million fans expected to attend.<\/p>\n

Each show is likely to draw more than 60,000 fans, marking one of the group\u2019s biggest tours to date. Analysts predict that the tour could push HYBE\u2019s operating profits into the 100 billion KRW range starting in the second quarter of 2026.<\/p>\n

Pop-Up Events and Concert Films Keep Momentum Alive<\/strong><\/p>\n

Ahead of the anticipated comeback, BTS is keeping fans engaged with special global events. From September 24 to October 5, the group is screening four of their concert films across 2,500 theaters in 65 countries. In addition, pop-up stores are being planned in major cities, ensuring fans can celebrate BTS\u2019 journey until the world tour officially begins.<\/p>\n

Currently, the members are back in South Korea, actively recording and finalising plans for their upcoming album. Some have also made appearances abroad, including fashion events in Milan and Paris, continuing to balance their global brand presence while preparing for the group\u2019s historic return to the stage.<\/p>\n
