Apple iPhone 17 and some of the 17 Pro models are facing issues<\/p>\n<\/figure>\n

Some of the iPhone 17 models are having a rough time with the Apple AI features and it seems the company has admitted to the issues. Apple Intelligence (Apple AI) has been the less talked about aspect of the company and we barely saw the term mentioned during the iPhone 17 launch event earlier this month.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

And now, some of the newer iPhone 17 users are scratching their heads because of the iOS 26 bug that has stopped them from using some of the known Apple AI features.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

iOS 26 Bugs Affect Apple AI Features: What iPhone 17 Users Are Saying<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The new iOS 26 update for iPhone 17 models has shown a wide range of issues and Apple AI tools not working seems to be the new one added to their affected list. The new version has made the AI tools like Image Playground, Genmoji and more not available for some of the iPhone 17 users, which includes the 17 Pro models as well.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Reports say the Apple support team has responded to the complaints of the iPhone 17 users and the company seems to be actively working on the issue behind the scenes. We do expect the iOS 26.1 update to have some level of improvements for these users and its roll out shouldn\u2019t be far away now with the iOS 26.1 beta already available.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The new iOS 26.1 version is also likely to fix other issues affecting the iPhone 17 users. Many have been frustrated with camera and Wi-Fi signal issues after using the new models with the iOS 26 update available from day one. The new version seems fairly unstable for a public release and many are hopeful that Apple\u2019s focus with the iOS 26.1 update will deliver better overall performance and make Apple AI available to everyone.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Apple Addresses iPhone 17 Pro Scratchgate Issues<\/strong><\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Apple made a surprising comment around the iPhone 17 Pro scratchgate<\/a> concerns. It all started when Bloomberg\u2019s Mark Gurman shared a clip on X talking about the deep blue iPhone 17 pro being scratch prone, so much that other iPhone 17 Pro buyers quickly realised the nature of the beast that Apple has created with a major design change this year.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Speaking to 9to5Mac the company interestingly said the damage and scratches have been caused by worn MagSafe stands that were being used in some of its stores to display the 17 Pro units. In fact, Apple was quoted saying, the marks are not even scratches, but the materials that have transferred from the stand to the iPhone model which can be easily removed. <\/span><\/p>\n
