But this popularity has made it an obvious target for scammers who prey on innocent victims and coax them into sending money or exposing their confidential bank details to steal money. <\/span><\/p>\n<p id=\"1\" class=\"story_para_1\"><span style=\"font-weight:400\">Which is why UPI payments need better security measures, especially with regards to the UPI ID that people share or reveal to the sender and that makes their privacy less secure. But finally you have a way to hide the mobile number from your UPI ID and even have the option to customise the IDs just like how you would do for emails or any other digital account.<\/span><\/p>\n<p id=\"2\" class=\"story_para_2\"><span style=\"font-weight:400\">UPI will soon get more changes which promises to make payments more reliable and secure but changing the UPI ID is a sure shot way to hide your personal details from anyone you send money or receive from.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p id=\"3\" class=\"story_para_3\"><span style=\"font-weight:400\"><strong>UPI ID For Payments: Time To Change<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p id=\"4\" class=\"story_para_4\"><span style=\"font-weight:400\">The support for changing UPI ID has been asked by many users and it is gradually coming to the popular UPI-compatible apps available in the country.
