Punjabi music fans have been anxiously following updates after singer Rajvir Jawanda sustained injuries in a serious road accident. The artist is currently receiving treatment at Fortis Hospital in Mohali for head and spinal injuries. Amid growing concern, social media platforms were swamped with false reports of his death, prompting fellow singer Kanwar Singh Grewal to issue a public clarification. Now, News18 Showsha has an exclusive update about Rajvir\u2019s health. We spoke to Kanwar who told us that Rajvir is getting better.<\/p>\n

Rajvir Jawanda\u2019s health update<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cRajvir Jawanda is stable now and thankfully out of immediate danger. The doctors are closely monitoring his condition and taking their time to ensure everything is under control. At the moment, he is not conscious, but we remain hopeful and positive about his recovery,” singer Kanwar Grewal told us exclusively. \u201cThis has been a very challenging time for his family, and I would request everyone to respect their privacy and keep Rajvir in their thoughts and prayers. We are all standing by him and supporting him through this difficult period.”<\/p>\n

About Rajvir Jawanda\u2019s accident<\/strong><\/p>\n

Rajvir Jawanda sustained serious head and spinal injuries in the road accident and is currently on ventilator support, according to a statement from Fortis Hospital cited by PTI. \u201cAs per available information, he sustained severe head and spine injuries in a road accident in the morning and also suffered a cardiac arrest before being shifted to Fortis Hospital, Mohali,” the statement said.<\/p>\n

Upon arrival, the singer was immediately assessed by the emergency and neurosurgery teams. Detailed examinations were conducted, and he was placed on advanced life support. Rajvir remains in a critical condition and is under close medical monitoring.<\/p>\n

Who is Rajvir Jawanda?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Ludhiana-born Rajvir Jawanda rose to fame with his hit track Kali Jawande Di and is also known for popular songs like Mera Dil and Sardari. Apart from his singing career, he has appeared in several Punjabi films, earning widespread admiration from his music fans. Rajvir is passionate about bikes and frequently shares videos of himself riding through scenic mountainous areas. He is married.<\/p>\n

According to Apple Music, Rajvir Jawanda gave up his initial dream of becoming a police officer after finishing university and instead chose to follow his passion for music, embarking on a career as a singer.<\/p>\n
