Xiaomi 17 series is coming to India but what about the 17 Pro Max?<\/p>\n<\/figure>\n

iPhone 17 Pro has gotten all the attention in the last few weeks but Xiaomi has introduced its own Pro Max model in the new flagship 17 series. And now, the company has announced its plans to bring the Xiaomi 17 series to the Indian market soon without giving a date or even a timeline.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Xiaomi made the big reveal at an event in the country earlier this month, but the product has already been introduced in China last week, with most of the details already shared. The fact that Xiaomi confirmed the 17 series launch has people excited for the bigger 17 Pro series which has the 17 Pro Max<\/a> with a secondary rear screen.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Xiaomi 17 India Launch: Is The 17 Pro Max Also Joining?<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Xiaomi 17 is one of the first devices to launch with the new Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset from Qualcomm. It is the new flagship SoC from the tech giant that will be seen with other premium brands over the next 6-10 months. Xiaomi sharing the big update regarding the 17 series launch in India gives it a definite head start over the rivals, especially when the product is already on the shelves in other regions.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Having said that, the Xiaomi 17 launched in China might be a different variant from the Indian model, as we have seen with other devices from the brand.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

But the bigger question people are asking Xiaomi is, will the more exciting 17 Pro and 17 Pro Max also be coming to the country? <\/span><\/p>\n

Going by the initial buzz it seems the 17 Pro models are likely to be reserved for the Chinese audience or we could see a whole new product (Xiaomi 17 Ultra maybe) that caters to the global market but for a later date. Either way, we are eager to see how that screen at the back with a gamepad case works out and perform in real life.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Xiaomi 17 Specifications And Expected Price<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Xiaomi 17 sports a 6.3-inch OLED display with 120Hz refresh rate. It comes with up to 16GB RAM and 1TB storage that are paired with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. The new phone gets Android 16-based HyperOS 3 version out of the box. It has a 50MP triple camera system with Leica-tuned lenses. And finally you have a 7,000mAh battery this year supported by 100W wired and 50W wireless charging speeds.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Xiaomi 17 price in India should be around Rs 75,000 but it could easily cross the 80K mark this time around when it launches. <\/span><\/p>\n
