Mithun Manhas will dip into his experience as a cricket administrator and domestic playing career to discharge his duties as the new BCCI president. The former Delhi cricketer was on Sunday elected as the 37th head of the world\u2019s richest cricket board during its Annual General Meeting (AGM) in Mumbai.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s an absolute honour to be the president of the world\u2019s finest cricket board. It\u2019s a huge responsibility as well. I give my assurance that I\u2019ll be committed to do it to the best of my ability and dedication and passion,” Manhas told reporters on Sunday.<\/p>\n

\u201cMaybe my work, my credentials\u2026 both as an administrator, as well as a cricketer. For the past four years, I\u2019ve been working with the JKCA, we have done reasonably well and it will certainly help,” he said when asked about the factors that worked in his election as the board\u2019s president.<\/p>\n

When asked if he has any particular agenda, Manhas replied in negative.<\/p>\n

\u201cNo, there\u2019s no such agenda. The only agenda is development and take BCCI and Indian cricket forward,” he said.<\/p>\n
