India are all set to face arch-rivals Pakistan in the final of the Asia Cup on Sunday, September 28, in Dubai. Having been marred by on and off-field drama alike, the two neighbouring countries will face off for one final time this season and this clash promises to be a thrilling one.<\/p>\n

The two sides have already clashed twice in the tournament, with India emerging victorious on both occasions.<\/p>\n

During the group stage clash, some Indian cricket fans called for a boycott amidst India-Pakistan tensions.<\/p>\n

India vs Pakistan Asia Cup Final Tickets Sold Out<\/strong><\/p>\n

As per reports, the group stage game drew 20,000 fans, while the Super Four clash saw 17,000 in attendance. Tickets for the Asia Cup<\/a> final are now sold out, with all 28,000 seats at Dubai International Stadium booked.<\/p>\n

Pakistan start underdogs vs India<\/strong><\/p>\n

Pakistan\u2019s faint hopes hinge on a strong new-ball performance. If ace pacer Shaheen Shah Afridi and Haris Rauf can strike early, India\u2019s top order could be under threat, leading to a low-scoring affair.<\/p>\n

But just as India lean on Abhishek Sharma, Shaheen and Rauf need support, something Pakistan have often lacked.<\/p>\n

Sunday\u2019s clash may be remembered more for the result than the courtesies, after all, all\u2019s well that ends well.<\/p>\n

For India, there is only one acceptable outcome: a victory over Pakistan, whether it is a dominating display or a scrappy affair, it would not matter in the end.<\/p>\n

As Pakistan gear up for a high-stakes Asia Cup final on Sunday, skipper Salman Ali Agha has set a defiant tone, emphasising both his side\u2019s approach and their intent to show raw emotions on the field.<\/p>\n

Star pacer Haris Rauf\u2019s provocative gestures in earlier games sparked debate, but Agha stood by his bowlers, insisting that aggression is part of their game.<\/p>\n

\u201cEvery individual has the right to express emotions. If we stop a fast bowler from showing emotions, what\u2019s left then? I won\u2019t stop anyone as long as it is not disrespectful,” Agha said in the pre-match press conference.<\/p>\n
