Thamma is set to release on the big screen this Diwali 2025, and it will see Ayushmann Khurrana and Rashmika Mandanna in a never-before-seen avatar.<\/p>\n

After exploring the world of Stree, Bhediya, and Munjaya, Thamma will venture into the bloodier arena, with Ayushmann and Rashmika playing vampires.<\/p>\n

As per the trailer of the film, Ayushmann plays Alok, a man who falls in love with a vampire and is later turned into one.<\/p>\n

Rashmika Mandanna will be seen as Tadka, a vampire, described as \u201cRoshni ki ek hi pehli kiran” (the very first ray of light).<\/p>\n

On the other end of the spectrum, Nawazuddin Siddiqui transforms into Yakshasan, hailed as the \u201cAndhere ka Badshah” (King of Darkness). True to his reputation, Nawazuddin is expected to bring intensity and depth to a menacing character.<\/p>\n

Adding a touch of satire and wit, veteran actor Paresh Rawal takes on the role of Mr. Ram Bajaj Goyal, a man \u201cjo humesha comedy mein tragedy dhoondhte hain” (who always finds tragedy in comedy).<\/p>\n

On September 26, 2025, the makers finally unveiled the film\u2019s official trailer. Sharing the trailer, the makers wrote, \u201cA forgotten legend from our folklore, #Thamma takes centre stage this Diwali. Maddock Horror Comedy Universe presents a bloody love story, produced by Dinesh Vijan & Amar Kaushik and directed by Aditya Sarpotdar. In cinemas worldwide on 21st October.”<\/p>\n
