AI chatbots are getting smarter and ChatGPT Pulse could be a big part of the evolution. OpenAI has announced its new ChatGPT assistant which is meant to personalise the interaction and go beyond the regular queries to help you plan actively. <\/span><\/p>\n

AI tools are adapting to the needs of the users and OpenAI sees ChatGPT becoming a personal assistant that can answer your complex queries but also work behind the scenes 24\u00d77 to keep you in the loop with the latest updates.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

ChatGPT Pulse: Your Personal AI Assistant<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

As Sam Altman, CEO, OpenAI puts it, \u201cPulse works for you overnight, and keeps thinking about your interests, your connected data, your recent chats, and more. Every morning, you get a custom-generated set of stuff you might be interested in.”\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

These are offered in the form of cards that are accessible through the ChatGPT app on mobile. You will need the ChatGPT Pro subscription to use Pulse for now and others like the Plus users could get it soon.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The personalised way to make AI interact with users seems to be the next go-to strategy for most companies. After all, the value in AI offering you service is only appealing when it can go beyond what you are asking and assimilate more relatable information when you might need it. \u201cThis also points to what I believe is the future of ChatGPT: a shift from being all reactive to being significantly proactive, and extremely personalized,” Altman adds in his post introducing Pulse to everyone.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

OpenAI going the personalised route is hardly surprising and to be fair it seems a step or two behind giants like Google and Meta who have data available in tonnes. ChatGPT as a personal assistant means you allow the AI to access more of your data, get permission to scan through your phone, your locations and more. <\/span><\/p>\n

This becomes a breeding ground for ads in the future, and unless you take the higher tier ChatGPT plans, the company could tempt the free offerings with these conditions. And this is where <\/span>ChatGPT Go comes straight to our mind where you have ChatGPT Pulse getting close, and eventually they are forced to pay a premium to keep their data away from the vultures. <\/span><\/p>\n
