Ektaa Kapoor has finally clarified that her viral video, in which she was talking about Ozempic, was not a dig at Ram Kapoor. Ektaa recently attended the India Today Conclave Mumbai 2025, where she revealed that her post was personal and was not intended as a comment on any particular individual.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis was exactly one week before I launched the Bade Achhe Lagte Hain promo, where the main character tries to fit into a medium. The promo was about body shaming, self-doubt, and self-assurance. Somehow, people took my post and spun it into something completely unrelated,” Ektaa said.<\/p>\n

The producer of several hit shows on television further stated that even she was shocked when people linked her video to Ram Kapoor. \u201cI don\u2019t know where Ram Kapoor came into this. He\u2019s not a woman, not on TV right now, and he\u2019s actually lost a lot of weight. It\u2019s like I\u2019m talking about my hair, and someone says, \u2018Oh, you called me bald.\u2019 Why would I do that?” she added.<\/p>\n

What Did Ektaa Kapoor Say In Her Video?<\/h4>\n

Earlier this year, Ekta Kapoor appeared to take a subtle jibe at Ram Kapoor\u2019s weight loss transformation. She shared a video on social media in which she said, \u201cWhat do I do? I\u2019ve gained a lot of weight. Should I do an anti-inflammatory diet? Mounjaro? Ozempic? All of the above? Zip my mouth? Ya chhod dun? Hum bade hi acche lagte hain (Or shall I leave it? Because I look good just the way I am)!” In the caption, she also wrote: \u201cOzempic ho jaye.”<\/p>\n

The \u2018bade hi acche lagte hain\u2019 line made many believe that she was talking about Ram Kapoor.<\/p>\n

Ram Kapoor\u2019s Wife Gautami Slams Ektaa Kapoor<\/h4>\n

Soon after, Ram Kapoor\u2019s wife, Gautami Kapoor, gave a sarcastic twist to Ekta\u2019s indirect dig at her husband. \u201cShould I do an anti-inflammatory diet? Should I take Mounjaro? Should I take Ozempic (pharmaceutical drugs), or all of the above? Or should I just zip my mouth? But I think mere liye gym hi kaafi hai (For me, the gym is enough),” she said in a video on Instagram.<\/p>\n

Gautami concluded by taking a dig at Ekta\u2019s show Bade Achhe Lagte Hain and said, \u201cKyunki humein bade nahi, chhote hi achhe lagte hain.”<\/p>\n

Sharing the video, Gautami wrote in the caption, \u201cJisse jo pasand ho\u2026 use woh karne do (Let people do what they like) \u2026 live and let live\u2026 at the end, what matters is health, happiness, and peace (sic).”<\/p>\n
