Nakuul Mehta has offered fans an insight into his morning routine. The actor posted a story on Instagram that included a plate of breakfast \u2013 just right in balancing taste and health. In his caption, Mehta wrote: \u201cBreakfast for champions: Espresso, skinny jalebi and fatty fafda.”<\/p>\n

The photo combines humour with a universal fondness for India\u2019s popular eats. The story mixes espresso, a skinny jalebi, and an oily, fatty fafda, illustrating Mehta\u2019s approach to breakfast.<\/p>\n

From TV Stardom to Web Sensation<\/strong><\/p>\n

Mehta, most popular for his roles as Shivaay Singh Oberoi in Ishqbaaaz and Ram Kapoor in Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 2, has gained a reputation as a multi-talented television actor. His acting career began in 2012 with Pyaar Ka Dard Hai Meetha Meetha Pyaara Pyaara, in which he portrayed Aditya Kumar, for which he received two Best Debut Male awards.<\/p>\n

His depiction of Shivaay Singh Oberoi in Ishqbaaaz (2016-2018) with Surbhi Chandna was a huge success. For the character, Mehta received many awards, like the ITA Award for Best Actor, Popular, and the Indian Telly Award for Best Actor in a Lead Role. The on-screen chemistry between him and Chandna also won the Gold Best Onscreen Jodi award.<\/p>\n

Expanding Horizons on Digital Platforms<\/strong><\/p>\n

Nakuul stepped into the digital medium with his web debut in 2016 in I Don\u2019t Watch TV, a series of which he was co-producer. He has since then appeared in hit web series and movies such as Never Kiss Your Best Friend (2020\u20132022), the short films Ved and Arya (2020), and the recent TV series Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 3 (2023).<\/p>\n

Mehta also reappeared in the iconic role of Shivaay in the first spin-off of Indian television, Dil Boley Oberoi, and went on to play Shivansh Singh Oberoi opposite Niti Taylor after a leap in Ishqbaaaz. These roles only further established his status as one of the top actors of Indian television.<\/p>\n

Personal Life and Family<\/strong><\/p>\n

Off camera, Mehta leads a peaceful private life. He met singer Jankee Parekh as an adolescent, and after living together for over a decade, the couple got married on 28 January 2012 in a ceremonial Hindu wedding. The couple has two children: a son, Sufi, born on 3 February 2021, and a daughter, Rumi, born on 15 August 2025.<\/p>\n
