The 71st National Film Awards turned into an evening filled with both prestige and heartwarming moments, as some of the country\u2019s finest actors received top honours. Shah Rukh Khan, who won his first-ever National Award for Jawan, was joined by Rani Mukerji, awarded for Mrs Chatterjee vs Norway, and Vikrant Massey, recognised for 12th Fail. While the awards marked significant milestones in their careers, it was their playful camaraderie backstage that stole hearts.<\/p>\n

Vikrant Massey On SRK And Rani\u2019s Playful Side<\/strong><\/p>\n

In a recent interaction with ANI, Vikrant Massey recalled how Shah Rukh and Rani were brimming with enthusiasm after receiving their medals. \u201cChildlike is the word! It was so inspiring to see Rani ma\u2019am and Shah Rukh sir still maintain that quality after so much success,” he said. Vikrant revealed that SRK insisted on wearing his medal immediately, sparking laughter and excitement among them. \u201cWhen Shah Rukh came back and said, \u2018Main to yeh award pehen rahaa hu (I am wearing the medal),\u2019 we all joined in. Then he said, \u2018Haan pehente hain. Kyu nahi (Yes, why not)?\u2019” he added.<\/p>\n

Rani even helped SRK untangle his medal before showing him how it looked using her selfie camera, turning the moment into an endearing memory.<\/p>\n

SRK\u2019s Chivalry Shines Through<\/strong><\/p>\n

Another viral clip from the ceremony highlighted Shah Rukh\u2019s gentlemanly side. He was seen carefully holding Rani\u2019s saree pallu to ensure it didn\u2019t get caught as they walked up to the stage. He even adjusted her hair before they faced the audience. The highlight came when SRK affectionately kissed Rani on the cheek, to which she responded with a warm \u201cthank you,” leaving fans in awe of their bond.<\/p>\n

A Night Of Milestones<\/strong><\/p>\n

The 71st National Film Awards also honoured Malayalam legend Mohanlal with the Dadasaheb Phalke Award for his unparalleled contributions to Indian cinema. For Shah Rukh Khan, the night was especially significant as it marked his first National Film Award in a career spanning over 30 years.<\/p>\n
