Filmmaker Abhinav Kashyap, Anurag Kashyap’s brother, called Salman Khan a gunda recently.<\/p>\n<\/figure>\n

Abhinav Kashyap has once again taken aim at Salman Khan, accusing the superstar of using his brother Anurag Kashyap as a shield. The Dabangg director claims Salman\u2019s praise for Anurag\u2019s new film isn\u2019t genuine but a calculated attempt to silence him.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt is written in Salman Khan\u2019s destiny\u2026”<\/strong><\/p>\n

Speaking to Bollywood Thikana, Abhinav alleged that Salman\u2019s recent backing of Anurag\u2019s film Nishaanchi is nothing more than a cover-up. \u201cIt is written in Salman Khan\u2019s destiny that he will lick our boots,” he said, suggesting the actor is trying to \u201cshow that he\u2019s our supporter” in response to his explosive remarks.<\/p>\n

He continued, \u201cWait and watch\u2026 Perhaps they\u2019re trying to get me to shut up via my brother. Maybe they think Anurag will talk to me and tell me not to speak. That\u2019s why he\u2019s praising my brother\u2019s film and doing his \u2018chamchagiri\u2019. This is how talentless people get ahead in life.”<\/p>\n

The Tere Naam fallout<\/strong><\/p>\n

Abhinav also recalled how Salman had once clashed with Anurag during the making of Tere Naam. He stressed that Anurag wasn\u2019t removed from the project but left after differences.<\/p>\n

In his own words, Anurag said, during a chat with \u00a0Samdish Bhatia, \u201cI was not asked to leave Tere Naam, the film ghosted on me. I just asked Salman to grow chest hair and he also didn\u2019t say anything. It was the producer who reacted.” He explained that though the scripting was done and he was fully involved, the shoot went ahead without him.<\/p>\n

Directed by Satish Kaushik, Tere Naam eventually released in 2003. Anurag added, \u201cI\u2019ve never met him since then. I have come across him once or twice and said \u2018hello\u2019.”<\/p>\n

Amjad Khan example<\/strong><\/p>\n

Drawing a parallel, Abhinav pointed to the late Amjad Khan\u2019s decision to never work again with Salman\u2019s father, Salim Khan, after hearing he had doubted his performance in Sholay. Abhinav claimed this history of broken trust mirrors his own experience with the Khans.<\/p>\n

Released in 2003, Tere Naam is a romantic drama directed by Satish Kaushik and starring Salman Khan and Bhumika Chawla. The film, a remake of the Tamil hit Sethu, follows the tragic love story of Radhe, a rebellious man whose life takes a dark turn after he falls for a simple college girl. Known for Salman\u2019s intense performance, his long-haired look, and Himesh Reshammiya\u2019s hit soundtrack, Tere Naam became a cult classic and is still remembered as one of the actor\u2019s most emotional roles.<\/p>\n
