Following a week-long suspension, Jimmy Kimmel<\/a> Live! returned on Tuesday night with its signature dose of entertainment. The show was paused last week by ABC and Disney after controversial remarks by host Jimmy Kimmel.<\/p>\n

While fans celebrate the return, a quarter of ABC-affiliated stations, including Nexstar and Sinclair, will not be airing the episodes.<\/p>\n

When And Where To Watch Jimmy Kimmel Live! Episodes?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Jimmy Kimmel Live! returns to Disney-owned ABC stations in the major US cities like New York, Los Angeles, Chicago and others. A few local affiliates like Hearst and Grey Media will also broadcast the episodes. The show returns on Tuesday at 11:35 PM ET, around 9 AM on Wednesday IST and is also available for live streaming.<\/p>\n

Jimmy Kimmel Live! is available on DirecTV, Fubo, Hulu Live, and YouTube TV. The episode will be streaming on Wednesday on Hulu and Disney+. Major clips, including the opening monologue, are available for the audience on the official Jimmy Kimmel Live! YouTube channel.<\/p>\n

Why Was Jimmy Kimmel Live! Suspended?<\/strong><\/p>\n

The show was suspended after Jimmy Kimmel heavily criticised President Donald Trump\u2019s MAGA supporters for their response to the killing of conservative activist Charlie Kirk. \u201cThe MAGA gang is desperately trying to characterise this kid who murdered Charlie Kirk as anything other than one of them and doing everything they can to score political points from it,” Kimmel said during his monologue on September 16. Later, Disney stated in a statement that Kimmel\u2019s comments were \u201cill-timed” and \u201cinsensitive”, which led to the show\u2019s suspension.<\/p>\n

Jimmy Kimmel Returns After Suspension<\/strong><\/p>\n

On Tuesday night, Kimmel appeared in front of the audience and thanked them for their support. He also addressed his comments on Charlie Kirk\u2019s assassination and stated he does not believe the suspected killer represents anyone. \u201cYou understand it was never my intention to make light of the murder of a young man\u2026 I don\u2019t think there\u2019s anything funny about it,” a visibly emotional Kimmel stated during the show. He further clarified that he never intended to blame any specific group for the assassination.<\/p>\n

\u201cWho thinks I did point a finger? I get you are upset\u2026 If the situation were reversed, there\u2019s a good chance I would\u2019ve felt the same way. I don\u2019t think the murderer who shot Krik represents anyone; this is a sick person who thinks violence is a solution, and it isn\u2019t over,” the comedian added.<\/p>\n
