Apple\u2019s thinnest iPhone was introduced earlier this month and unlike most rumours, the company is calling it iPhone Air, which separates it from the 17 series. The thin design of the iPhone Air is easy to dismiss but it is definitely a good looking device that also has the brawn to match its beauty. The bend tests have proven the use of titanium to make this model has done the trick for the 5.6mm frame and made it hard to break.<\/p>\n

The iPhone Air model features a ProMotion display like all the iPhone 17 series models, which was essential for its price tag. You also get the same A19 Pro chipset with 12GB RAM like the 17 Pro devices which gives the sleek iPhone high-end performance credentials.<\/p>\n

Making a thin iPhone seems to have forced Apple\u2019s hand in many ways and one of them is the use of eSIM to support the network. The company has launched eSIM iPhones earlier as well but the new Air model is eSIM-only for all the markets, including India and China where its launch has been delayed.<\/p>\n

Apple has managed to fit all the hardware, except for the battery to the top of the iPhone Air panel. You have the A19 Pro chipset, the camera module all packed on one side to accommodate a slightly bigger battery. The company had to drop one speaker also.<\/p>\n

Not just the eSIM and smaller battery are the design cutbacks with the Air you also go down from three to one camera on the model. This is like the iPhone 16e but a better sensor on board. But for Rs 1,19,900 people would definitely expect more even if the quality is more than enough.<\/p>\n
