Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal have announced that they are expecting their first child together. The pregnancy announcement left their fans and Bollywood colleagues overjoyed. As love and good wishes continue to pour in, Deepika Padukone, Anushka Sharma, and Preity Zinta have also congratulated the parents-to-be.<\/p>\n

The couple, who have always been private about their personal lives, chose to reveal the news themselves, giving everyone a glimpse into this special moment. \u201cOn our way to start the best chapter of our lives with hearts full of joy and gratitude,” Katrina and Vicky wrote in a joint post. They also shared a Polaroid photo in which Katrina was seen lovingly caressing her baby bump while Vicky gazed at her with affection.<\/p>\n

Anushka Sharma wrote, \u201cCongratulations.” She added a red heart emoji. Preity Zinta wrote, \u201cSOOOO HAPPY for you guys. Congratulations. Loads of love always.” However, it was Deepika Padukone\u2019s comment that grabbed the most eyeballs. The actress dropped evil eye emojis in the comments section.<\/p>\n

Deepika and Katrina\u2019s comments about one another often grab headlines due to their former feud. According to several media reports, things soured between the two after Ranbir Kapoor allegedly cheated on his then-girlfriend Deepika with Katrina when the duo worked together in Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani in 2009.\u00a0They may have been in a relationship with Ranbir Kapoor at different points in their lives, but both Katrina Kaif and Deepika Padukone are long past their discomfort and grievances with each other.<\/p>\n

Deepika had even invited Katrina to her wedding reception in Mumbai, which the Tiger Zinda Hai actress graciously attended. Deepika told Filmfare, \u201cA lot of water has flown under the bridge. For me, just the fact that she came and was very present was gracious. I\u2019ve always been fond of her. You know, just the way that she\u2019s been over the years, and with her work and I have a lot of respect for that. I made my peace with her.”<\/p>\n

Katrina also spoke warmly of Deepika to Pinkvilla in an earlier interview. Revealing details about Deepika and Ranveer Singh\u2019s Mumbai reception, she said, \u201cI was invited by them for sure, and the instinct in my heart was to go; I felt I would like to go. There was no other thought behind it.” \u201cWe had a very nice, warm and happy night. There was a lot of love, and we all danced and ate and had great fun! I was there till the wee hours of the morning,” she added.<\/p>\n

As for Katrina\u2019s new life phase, while details about the pregnancy are still under wraps, insiders say that she is already in the advanced stages, and the little one is expected to arrive soon. According to the latest reports, Katrina is now in her third trimester. Sources suggest that the baby is likely to arrive between October 15 and October 30. While nothing has been officially confirmed by the couple yet, insiders say that Katrina and Vicky prefer to keep the news private and may choose to make it public after the baby is born.<\/p>\n
