Abrar Ahmed and Wanindu Hasaranga copied each other\u2019s celebrations during the Asia Cup 2025 Super 4 clash between Pakistan and Sri Lanka at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi on Tuesday.<\/p>\n

First, it was Abrar who clean bowled Hasaranga and celebrated by doing the Sri Lankan\u2019s trademark move. In the second innings, Hasaranga took a catch as well as a wicket and celebrated both times by doing Abrar\u2019s move.<\/p>\n

PAK Restrict SL To 133\/8<\/h2>\n

Pakistan showcased an outstanding all-round bowling performance to limit Sri Lanka to 133\/8 in 20 overs during a crucial Super 4 clash of the Men\u2019s T20 Asia Cup at Zayed Cricket Stadium on Tuesday. With both teams having faced defeats in their opening Super 4 matches, the contest was essentially a must-win to keep their chances of reaching the final alive.<\/p>\n

Skipper Salman Agha won the toss and chose to field, and his bowlers delivered from the outset. Shaheen Shah Afridi struck with his second ball, dismissing an opener to set the tone. In his next over, Afridi removed the threatening Pathum Nissanka, while Haris Rauf took care of Kusal Perera, leaving Sri Lanka struggling at 18\/2. Despite some brief resistance, the collapse continued as Hussain Talat claimed two wickets in a single over, including skipper Dasun Shanaka, reducing Sri Lanka to 58\/5.<\/p>\n

Spinner Abrar Ahmed tightened the screws in the middle overs with an exceptional spell of 1-8 from his four overs, denying Sri Lanka any scoring momentum. Charith Asalanka (20) provided a few boundaries, but Pakistan\u2019s bowlers maintained full control.<\/p>\n

The lone bright spot for Sri Lanka was Kamindu Mendis, who fought valiantly with a well-compiled 50 off 44 balls, including three fours and two sixes. He received some support from Wanindu Hasaranga (15), but their partnership was broken by Abrar. Afridi returned to dismiss Mendis in the 19th over, finishing with 3-28.<\/p>\n
