Piyush Mishra recently claimed that Anurag Kashyap tends to ‘lose his mind’ and ‘ruin’ the second halves of many of his films. <\/p>\n<\/figure>\n

Piyush Mishra has never shied away from sharing his honest and blunt opinions on the film industry. Recently, in an interview where he was joined by Manoj Bajpayee, Raam Reddy and Anurag Kashyap, he claimed that his friend Anurag tends to \u2018ruin the second half\u2019 of his films such as Gulaal, Dev D and Gangs Of Wasseypur. But Anurag isn\u2019t the one to take such criticisms to his heart. <\/p>\n

Speaking exclusively to News18 Showsha, he talks about Piyush\u2019s protectiveness about him and says, \u201cHe loves me. He also gets upset when I react. He tells me, \u2018Kyun? Just stop!\u2019 He cautions me that he wasted his life reacting to things and that I shouldn\u2019t become like him.” Apart from Piyush, there\u2019s another person who calls him out for his controversial remarks. \u201cWhen I do or say something, Manoj tells me, \u2018Yaar, tum kyun karte ho aise?\u2019 He has lived through life and is a very practical person,” Anurag tells us. <\/p>\n

In fact, Manoj also recently said that Anurag has made too many enemies. Despite Manoj\u2019s anger at his candour and bluntness, Anurag remarks that he always \u2018looks out\u2019 for him. \u201cI know he\u2019ll protect me. That\u2019s the kind of relationship I\u2019ve with all of my friends. Manoj toh bade hai, he\u2019s like an elder brother to me even though he looks ten times younger than me. He\u2019s somebody who has always looked out for me. He gives me the most honest advice,” he shares. <\/p>\n

Recently, speaking to us, Manoj addressed his hot and cold relationship with Anurag and quipped that he has \u2018found new love\u2019 for him. Talking about it, the Nishaanchi director says, \u201cAll\u2019s well between me and Manoj. Sab super fine hai.” At the Jugnuma premiere a few days ago, a video of Manoj finding himself flustered as Jaideep Ahlawat, Vijay Varma and Anurag lined up to touch his feet, caught the attention of fans. <\/p>\n

Reacting to it, Anurag says, \u201cJaideep, Vijay, Viineet (Kumar Siingh) and I met each other suddenly after a long time. And we touched Manoj\u2019s feet (laughs). He\u2019s unstoppable. He just goes on and on with his films. Inspector Zende released recently and then Jugnuma came. Kaise kar leta hai yeh aadmi! He\u2019s older but ten times fitter than me. He\u2019s like another Anil Kapoor. That\u2019s why hum unke pair padh gaye the (laughs)! He\u2019s a legend.” <\/p>\n

Anurag may not blow his trumpets about his friendships in Bollywood but tells us that he holds them really close to his heart as they don\u2019t shy away from telling him the truth and giving him reality checks from time to time. \u201cAll these friendships I\u2019ve in my life are very silent, including the ones I share with (Vikramaditya) Motwane and Nawazuddin (Siddiqui),” shares the Manmarziyaan and Mukkabaaz filmmaker. <\/p>\n

He further adds, \u201cBut I\u2019ll tell you something. People really don\u2019t understand what they should talk to me about because I don\u2019t speak about anything else apart from cinema. Maybe I\u2019m boring that way! But when we meet, we do chat. It\u2019s just that we\u2019re all very busy with our individual works. Everyone has something or the other going on for themselves, so we hardly get the time to catch up.” <\/p>\n
