Navratri Day 1 Puja Vidhi And Aarti:<\/strong> Shardiya Navratri begins today. The festival will commence with the worship of Maa\u00a0Shailputri, a form of goddess Durga, often depicted riding a bull and carrying a trident and a lotus. Shardiya Navratri Day 1: Puja Vidhi<\/h2>\n

1. The Muhurat for Ghatasthapana, is from 5.25 a.m. to 7.16 a.m, as per Drikpanchang.<\/p>\n

2. For Ghatasthapana, a Kalash (pitcher) is filled with holy water, betel nuts, Durva grass, perfume, and coins.<\/p>\n

3. Five mango leaves and a green coconut is placed on the pitcher, which is then placed above a grain pot.<\/p>\n
