Star India batter Yashasvi Jaiswal has said that team selection decisions are taken according to the desired combination and he has taken it in his stride, deciding to move on after he didn\u2019t find a place in India\u2019s 15-member squad for the Asia Cup, which is being played in the UAE.<\/p>\n

India\u2019s Test skipper Shubman Gill<\/a> returned to the team and was appointed vice-captain. His inclusion led to Sanju Samson dropping down the batting order as well. Besides, Jaiswal was demoted to the standbys.<\/p>\n

Jaiswal has played 23 T20Is till now, scoring 723 runs at an average of 36.15 with a strike rate of 164.31.<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t think about. It\u2019s all in the hands of selectors. The decisions are taken according to the team combination. I will do whatever I can,” Jaiswal said while speaking on\u00a0Mashable India.<\/em><\/p>\n

\u201cWhen my time comes, things will fall into place. I just want to keep working on myself and keep working hard,” Jaiswal said.<\/p>\n

\u201cI always had the belief that I would do something big. I will never stop. I will just keep working hard,” Jaiswal added.<\/p>\n

In the same conversation, the star Indian batter reflected on scoring a hundred in front of his parents during the England tour, calling it a \u2018special\u2019 moment in his life.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy ultimate dream is to make the team win the World Cup. The T20 World Cup win in 2024 was truly special for me. We got such a good welcome in India when we came back home,” Jaiswal said.<\/p>\n

The star Indian batter was last seen in action in a Duleep Trophy encounter against Central Zone, where he scored 4 and 64 in two innings.<\/p>\n

In the recent England tour, Jaiswal\u2019s only failure came in the Lord\u2019s Test, where he scored 13 and zero in the two innings. In the other four Tests, he scored two half-centuries and as many hundreds.<\/p>\n
