Maruti Suzuki announced that it will pass on the full benefit of the recent reduction in GST rates on automobiles to customers, cutting ex-showroom prices of its entry-level models by up to Rs 1.29 lakh.<\/p>\n

Maruti Suzuki cars will get cheaper starting Monday, September 22, 2025, just ahead of the festive season \u2014 a crucial period for automobile sales.<\/p>\n

The relief comes after the GST Council, chaired by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, in its 56th meeting, announced a sharp tax reduction on small cars. The goods and services tax (GST) rate has been slashed to 18% from the earlier 28%, along with the removal of the 1% cess.<\/p>\n
