Air India Express has announced new daily direct flights between Bengaluru and Bangkok, effective from Thursday. The new service aims to provide travellers from Bengaluru and neighbouring regions convenient, non-stop connectivity to Thailand, especially, during the upcoming festive and holiday season, a statement issued by Air India Express said on Thursday.<\/p>\n

\u201cTo celebrate the launch, the special introductory Xpress Value fares start at Rs 16,800 for a round trip. The one-way fares for Bengaluru\u2014Bangkok is Rs 9,000 and Bangkok\u2013Benga\u20b9<\/span>luru is Rs 8,850,\u201d the statement read.<\/p>\n

Bookings are now open on the airline\u2019s award-winning website, airindiaexpress.com, mobile app, and other major booking channels.<\/p>\n

According to the airlines company, there will be a flight from Bengaluru to Bangkok everyday at 11 am (IST), which will reach its destination at 4:45 pm (IST).<\/p>\n

The return flight from Bangkok will be at 5.45 pm (IST) and it will land in Bengaluru at 8.30 pm (IST).

Meanwhile, Air India Express started direct flight operations from Dehradun to Bengaluru with Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami flagging off the new air service at the Jolly Grant Airport on September 15. The Chief Minister described the service as a milestone in the overall development of tourism in the state with expanded of air connectivity.<\/p>\n

“The commencement of Air India Express services from Dehradun marks a significant achievement in civil aviation for our state. Better connectivity with Bengaluru will greatly boost tourism, trade, and investment opportunities in Uttarakhand,” he said.<\/p>\n

Direct air service between Dehradun and Bengaluru by Air India Express would be a great facility for the youth, entrepreneurs, IT professionals, students, and tourists of Uttarakhand, he said.<\/p>\n

“Bengaluru is the tech capital of the country and thousands of youth from Uttarakhand are engaged there in education, services, and startups. Now, they will have a more convenient, timely, and safe travel option to visit their home state,” the Chief Minister said.<\/p>\n

“It will also strengthen connectivity for students, professionals, and entrepreneurs with one of India’s most dynamic cities. We welcome Air India Express and look forward to the positive impact this connectivity will have on our people and economy,” Dhami said.<\/p>\n

In recent years, the state government has taken several major decisions \u2014 from policy reforms to infrastructure development \u2014 to strengthen air connectivity, Dhami said.<\/p>\n

“We are delighted to commence direct flight operations from Dehradun to our largest domestic hub, Bengaluru. This shows the rapid expansion of our network,” Air India Express MD Aloke Singh said. “With over 115 aircraft now in our fleet, we are building a stronger and more accessible network that reflects the aspirations of modern India,” he said.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
