As BlackBuck\u2019s co-founder Rajesh Yabaji announced to move out the logistics firm from Bengaluru, Andhra Pradesh Minister Nara Lokesh offered the former to relocate its operations to Visakhapatnam.<\/p>\n

Responding to BlackBuck CEO\u2019s announcement, Lokesh said, \u201cHi Rajesh, can I interest you in relocating your company to Vizag? We are rated among top 5 cleanest cities in India, are building best-in-class infra, and have been rated the safest city for women. Please send me a DM.”<\/p>\n

The online trucking platform CEO and co-founder on Tuesday announced that through a social media post that\u00a0the company has decided to move out of its current location at Bellandur on Bengaluru\u2019s Outer Ring Road (ORR), citing \u201cworsening infrastructure and commute issues” in the metropolis.<\/p>\n

The ORR, which is one of the IT corridors in the city, often witnesses traffic congestion.<\/p>\n

\u201cORR (Bellandur) has been our \u201coffice + home” for the last 9 years. But it\u2019s now very-very hard to continue here. We have decided to move out,” Yabaji said in a post on \u2018X\u2019.<\/p>\n

Yabaji said that the average commute for his colleagues was more than one and half hours one way. The roads are riddled with potholes and dust, \u201cwith little intent to fix them” he said, adding he didn\u2019t expect it to change in the next five years.<\/p>\n

An X thread that went viral captured the mood of many residents. Yogesh (@Spartacus_Tweet) called the property rates in Bellandur \u201cmassively overvalued,” comparing builders\u2019 asking prices to \u201cChicago and Dubai for the infrastructure of Somalia.”<\/p>\n

As the comments spread widely online, many users seized upon them to criticise Bengaluru\u2019s civic conditions. BlackBuck later clarified that while it would vacate its Bellandur premises, it had no plans to leave the city.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are just moving out of the Bellandur location, not out of Bengaluru. No question of moving out of the city. We are looking for an alternative option in Bengaluru,” the company said in a statement.<\/p>\n
