Dipika Kakar, a known television face, has been giving fans updates about her health for the last few months after undergoing surgery for stage 2 liver cancer. In her recent vlog, Dipika<\/a> confessed that she has become accustomed to the treatment\u2019s negative effects, although experiencing excessive hair loss still makes her scared. Previously, she shared how she had to stay away from her son during her recuperation period post surgery.<\/p>\n

Speaking about the excessive hair loss, Dipika shared, \u201cI have rested the whole day today because I was very low. The side effects are there, but I have become very used to it now. Just the hairfall is very scary. Bahut jyada baal gir rahe hain. Main jab nahake aati hun, main 10-15 min chup rehti hun, kisi se baat nahi karti because hairfall is a lot (My hair is falling excessively. After taking a bath, I stay quiet for 10\u201315 minutes and don\u2019t talk to anyone because the hair fall is a lot). That is very scary for me.”<\/p>\n

Furthermore, Dipika shared some medical details about her treatment. She noted that the results of the tumour marker tests and LFT she undertook after three months were normal.<\/p>\n

Earlier, in another vlog, the actress shared that long after her surgery, she is able to hold her son Ruhaan on her lap again. Dipika said, \u201cRuhaan can sleep on my lap now after surgery as the stitches are finally healed. I can\u2019t carry him, but he can lie on my lap and sleep.” The actress was quite emotional as she noted that it was a very precious moment as she was always worried if she would be able to fulfil her motherhood duties post surgery.<\/p>\n

Dipika underwent a 14-hour surgery back in June. Later, her husband and actor Shoaib Ibrahim disclosed that, while Dipika has no cancer cells at the moment, the tumour was highly aggressive and there is a risk of recurrence. Dipika most recently appeared on Celebrity MasterChef. However, she had to leave the event in the middle owing to an arm injury caused by intense physical exertion. Gaurav Khanna eventually won the show.<\/p>\n
